Snakes are very dangerous especially poisonous one's to both human beings and cats (and other pets). Ordinarily, most cats will avoid getting in the way of snakes because they spit and can bite but not my cat. She's killed a snake in the backyard yesterday and I was shocked her predator instinct kicked in to kill the snake. Even though the snake isn't fully grown, I'm impressed with her heroics. She got a nice treat for her effort.

I hope my cats don't face off with a snake in their lives. Anything can go wrong and they will get bitten and probably die from the snake's poison. I know cat's will do everything possible to avoid getting bitten but I don't want such experience with my cats.

As much as we do have snakes in my country, they are usually kept as pets and we do not have any out in the wild unless someone's pet snake ends up getting out.

The only thing we believe my cat was ever attacked by was a dog at one point and she came in with a paw that was bleeding and she was clearly in pain with it.

The only thing she ever attacked was a bird and mice.

I'm sorry to hear about your cat getting attacked by a dog. There are some dogs out there which can't stand cats which makes them get into a fight whenever they cross paths. It's good your cat didn't sustain fatal injuries.

My cat likes to hunt birds too. They day I saw her jump leap up to catch one flying over her, I was shocked with her agility.

No, none of my cats have killed a snake. I'm very sure that they have never seen a snake and not to talk about killing one. I haven't seen a snake in my neighbourhood for more than 10 years.

My cats have never had any encounter with snakes because I don't think we have any snakes in a our environment.

We usually have drugs that always chases snakes away spread around our yard so that we can prevent snakes from entering our home.

Snakes? I've not seen one for a very long time. It's like snakes doesn't live in my surroundings. My cats won't have any fights with snakes because they can't see them.

Snakes are very far from my house. I put some bitter kola all round the house and as they said, it chase away snakes. My cat haven't killed a snake before.
