Do you have issues with fleas?

Something I always noticed when we had Smokey was just how often she would get fleas. She was also allergic to the saliva of the female flea and it would make her unwell so we always ensured that we treated her as much as we were able.

We have a cat that lives in the neighbourhood who is also suffering badly with fleas and my mum also has a cat that has fleas and she has been struggling as well to get rid of them but is seeing some progress now.

Do you ever have issues with fleas on your cats?

I don't have any issues with fleas for any of cats. I know that it's in their best interest to groom them whenever it's due and treat them of any fleas if they have any. This is to prevent them from eating the fleas when they groom themselves.

My observation and conclusion is that cats usually have flea problem whenever they are going outside frequently and this is the reason why I don't allow my cats to leave the house and they have never had flea problems.

Cats can get fleas from outside, dirty places and coming in contact with other cats that are dirty. My cat can't be outside without me or in the garden without my observation.
