Your cat in the kitchen?

I woke up last night and saw my cat in the kitchen. I was so surprised seeing she was trying to get something from the drawer. I don't know what it was but I was very curious as to why this happened. Could it be food she was looking for?

There is no where in my house which my cats doesn't go into except for the bathroom because none of them likes getting wet. I lock all my cupboard to make sure they can't get inside of it and make a mess of provisions I kept there.

My cats doesn't go to the kitchen when I'm not there. They know if I'm in the kitchen, it means food time, so they will be around to grab whatever they can.
