I found out one of my cat's been grinding her teeth whenever she's eating. I don't know what could be the cause. This is the first time something like this have happened with her. It's making me worried but I'm trying to keep calm. I will be taking her to the vet tomorrow for inspection.

Did you take the cat to the vet doctor? I am worried as well as I have not experienced that with any of my cat as it is strange to me. I pray it wasn't a big issue.

Yes, I took him to the vet as we had arranged and she was diagnosed to have bruxism. It ended up being a minor gun disease. We have already started treatment and she's improving.

Glad she is doing well. I will always feel restless whenever simba or Luna is sick. I can't even get enough sleep as I will always be thinking of the worst that is going to happen.

Did you manage to take your cat to the vet? This is the first time I have heard of a cat grinding their teeth when eating but hopefully, the vet was able to find out the cause.

The teeth grinding can be as a result of gum disease and it can also be as a result of a habit that they form by themselves.
