My cat disturbs me when I am on the phone.

Zoey has now picked up a new interest. Whenever I am on a call and she picks it up, she will come running to disturb. Sometimes she will sit on my laps and be restless, other times she will try to pull my hand away from my ears with her claws.

I don’t understand the meaning of her newfound disturbance.

I don't understand it too but you can ask Zoey what she wants you to do when there's incoming call. Ask her if she's ready to talk to the person
