There are some countries that have partial and complete ban on pitbulls. There are some part of Canada that doesn't allow pitbulls. It's understandable why they ban pitbulls because of how dangerous they can be. There was a news where a pitbull killed a baby.

Have you owned a pet where it's banned partially or completely?

Not yet! I would love to have a monkey, but I do not have the time to care for it at this time. Monkeys are social animals and it would be inhumane to keep it alone for hours in a cage... so maybe when I retire?

I have many friends that have pitbulls, and I have to say that they have been the sweetest, playful and most loyal dogs I've met. I've heard the stories of pitbulls been dangerous but I can only assume it's based on who raises the dog, cause the pitbulls I've met have been very well behaved.

I've never had any pets that are illegal because the only pets that I keep is only dogs and cats. It is completely legal for one to own a dog or cat in my country. I don't have anything to worry about the government interfering with my relationship with cats and dog.

Keeping any animal that is illegal is just like compromising yourself and also the animal as well. This is because if the authorities were to find out, you are most likely going to be punished severely for your actions and that also puts the animal in jeopardy.

People keeping illegal pets are jeopardizing their lives and also the lives of their pets. Even if the authorities didn't find out, it might cause them their lives.
