Perhaps you feel like you have enough, so after you cat gave birth you thought of giving a couple of kittens away. But it is not that easy is it? Even though you don’t have much attachment to the kittens yet, it’s still a little hard given them away.

How are you able to do it and how do you cope?

Nah, I have never given consideration to the thought of giving any of my cats away for whatever reason.

I have never thought about or considered giving a kitten away. I am a firm believer that if you are a pet/animal lover and especially a cat lover like myself, you should be cautious as to not end up with too many that you can't cope with.

It was only one of my kittens that got away from the house without my knowledge. It took like nearly 12 hours before I was able to find her again ans brought her back to my house. Since then, they don't leave without my knowledge.

Mine didn't have birth but the mother did, that's how I get to have one kitten for myself. My grandma was the one that gave me one of the kittens and asked me to take care of it.

I've never been forced to give away any of my kittens because none of my female cats can get pregnant as I made sure of it. I don't want them to suffer the pain of child birth.

I'm not a breeder which is why it's going to be almost impossible for me to have kittens to give away. Breeders who does it amazes me because I don't have the heart to do it.

That is because you are actually attached to your kittens. I find them really cute, giving them away can be hard to do. But how many can one actually keep?

If I ever find myself in a situation whereby I know it is going to be very difficult for me to take care of the kitchen, I would have to make the decision to give it away to another person who can take care of it.

As for me, I can't keep up to two kittens. I don't always like a full house so the best I can do is to give them to those who will take care of them if eventually my cat gives birth.

You can't keep two kittens? But why? It is not advisable to have just one kitten, they should be at least two so they can play with each other.

Cats are not the sort of pets that feel lonely. There are some kittens that you cannot even afford to have two of them. They will wreck havoc in the home.

Before I stopped my cat from having babies, she had five kittens last and I had to give away three of them and kept two of them. It was the last time I ever gave away kittens.

Are you sure? Because I have heard most animal scientists advise against having just one pet in the house. Well, I guess there's no problem if there is another kind of animal in the house.
