Have you adopted any strayed cat?

How do you feel about strayed cats? Do you feel pity enough to adopt anyone you see homeless in your neighbourhood and start taking very good care of the cat?

I have been thinking about adopting one stray cat I usually see in my neighbourhood but I'm afraid how my cat would react to another total stranger cat.

I haven't officially adopted any strayed cat but I have a duty of taking care of strays living in my neighbourhood. I always make sure to feed them every day and keep hoping that someone will adapt them one day.

There are no strayed cats living in my neighbourhood. If there was, I would be interested in taking them up as long as I'm capable of taking very good care of them. It's not like when I had no time to look after pets because of the nature of my job but now, I'm very free.

I remember when I was a kid, we had a neighbor who had two cats. She left the flat and never took the cats with her, one of them disappeared and we never saw it again but the other one stayed around the house wanting food, we knew she wasn't coming back so my mum made the decision to take him in. We called him Simba and due to how he had been treated, he was a very greedy cat.

At the time we also have another cat called Nala and even though it was a little chaotic at first taking Simba in, they both eventually learned to get on, the only issue was you had to watch Nala when she was eating otherwise Simba would eat his own and Nalas food.

He had a great life though after we took him in and lived to be 18, died in August 2014.

I work in a vet store, so yes I have adopted a couple of strays and brought them home. In fact, my first cat was a stray. I couldn't let him be homeless after coming in contact with him.

The last stray I brought home was adopted by my neighbour. He saw the cat and begged me to adopt him.

If I lived in a better and bigger apartment, I would be interested in adopting a few more cats but my living space is small and I'm managing it with my cat. Maybe when I move to a another big place, I will certainly get a stray to live with us.

I have in the past taken in stray cats when I have found them but it's not something I do as often now as I used to. If I find a stray cat now I tend to report it and ensure that the cat gets the help and shelter it needs.

As much as I would love to continue taking more in, I don't think my cats would take well to it.

I haven't adopted any strayed cat. It's not like I wouldn't like to but there isn't many strayed cats living in my neighbourhood. If there were, I will take in at least 2 more cats. As long as my cat doesn't have any issues adjusting to living with them.

Sadly, I haven't adopted any strayed cat. I can't adopt any stray cat because I won't be in the right place to give the cat what it needs immediately which is more than just food. There's a stray living in my neighbourhood, I'm planning on getting authorities in charge to come take it and find it a shelter home.

I always felt this pity for the stray cats and in several occasions, I have decided to get one but they are afraid to come closer. It's either they see you and ran away of hide.
