Do you sleep with lights on or off?

I don't like sleeping with light on at night. It makes it difficult for me to sleep and I wake up easily with the room lights on. It's why I switch off every light in the house whenever I want to sleep. My brother is different with lights because he can't sleep with the light off. I don't sleep in the same room with him whenever he's around.

I sleep with lights on. I want to always wake up intermittently to check some certain things and having the lights off will not make me achieve that at all.

Thieves broke into our home in the dark of the night when I was still a kid. I was completely traumatized. Since then, I don't stay in any where that's dark and I sleep with all the room light on.

I am not afraid of the dark which is why my lights are switch off before I go to sleep. Whenever the light is on, I find it very difficult to sleep. So I always have them turned off.
