    I haven't seen a cat that behaves in a rough way except stray cat. Cats love to reserved their energy for something good coming their way and not for fight.

    I would have said it's gene working but animals and humans doesn't share the same DNA. I think they are living with what you made them be or eat.

    You can know by their behaviour; forgetting where their food or litter tray are, being afraid or clingy, becoming too affectionate and clingy to their owner. One can still know from the observations of the vets.
