Why is my cat always looking and acting dull?

I got another cat with Olive some weeks ago. But he does not have the drive and energy that Olive has. I don't even know what to name him yet, and he is not even active.

What is the cause of the dullness, and how can I get him to lighten up?

Have you taken him to the vet? He might actually be sick but you will not know that as you are not a doctor that can examine him.

Do your cat have any underlying sickness which you have been managing over a while? If you're not sure, I would suggest you go and run a full scan and tests to make sure everything is well with her.

Yup I agree. There has to be something wrong, especially if the cat had been an active one.
But there are some cats that are just like that.

It could just be his personality. Some cats are naturally calmer than others. Just keep an eye on him, and if the dullness continues, a vet check is worth considering.

The cat's health is compromised. I would suggest taking it to the vet immediately and find out exactly what is wrong.

This can turn out to be nothing serious, but there is no harm in finding out. If my cat was active and it suddenly became dull this is what I will do.

The new cat is still adjusting and adapting to his new environment. Give it time, I'm sure he will definitely come around.
