What's the worst horrible way you've seen a cat die/killed?

I witnessed a horrible scene yesterday in my neighbourhood. A cat unknowingly climbed the electricity transformer and accidentally got him electrocuted. It was an orange cat. My heart was broken seeing him twitching on the flood before dying finally.

What's the worst horrible way you've seen a cat die/killed?

It has been some years back but the memory is still stuck in my head. A long vehicle just smashed this cat's head as he was trying to cross the road. It's a painful death.
