What strategies do you use to introduce a new pet to your household?

When we had Smokey, also had other pets in the house. Over the years when we had Smokey, we also had hamsters and guinea pigs.

When getting new pets when you already have a cat, it is wise to introduce them to the new pets in a way that they understand that they are family too and they will be living here.

What strategies have you used or do you use to introduce a new pet to your household?

There is no need for strategies because I live alone. Even if I do not, I would not bring a dangerous animal to the home. The pets I have are always cute and adorable, anyone would want to play with them.

We didn't introduce ourselves to each other. We started living as roommate, told her that I am her owner and she's my daughter. Guess she understand it very well.
