What do you think about people who kick their cats?

I visited a friend and the guy was just giving his cat a kick at every opportunity he gets. I complained about it and he said he's just being playful with it.
Do you think it is okay for people to kick their cats, wether playfully or not?

This is simply and abused to the cat. If I happen to know that kind of person, I am definitely going to make sure I report him to the authorities and ensure that the cat is taking away from him and he will also serve some punishment.

How can someone kick their cats aggressively? Were they forced to keep the cat? I can't understand it because I can remember when Zouma who used to play for West Ham kicked his cat and the video was posted online. It was heartbreaking.

That is pure wickedness. In some counties it reported they might do time or pay a heavy fine. Animal cruelty just should not even be a thing in a sane society.

Kicking your cat while.you call it a play is just wickedness in the highest order. What happened to stroking or petting them if they are on your way or you want to play with them. That guy needs to be arrested.

I completely support you 100%. When it's very clear that you no longer want a cat to live under your care, let them go or take them to any shelter nearby.

It's animal abuse and I believe there's a law against doing that to pet animals. For example in Texas under “Loco’s Law” (2001), cruelty to non-livestock animals is a felony, with up to $10,000 fines and two years in jail. Cockfighting is also a felony. Civil laws allow animal seizure and restitution.

And such people don't learn from going to jail. The best thing is to stripe them off the pets they have and keep them away in isolated place for over some periods of months to learn a bitter lesson.
