What do you say about coffee in litter?

I have come across some reports that making use of used coffee grounds to the litter helps with the strong potent pee odor. Do you make use of it? Must it be coffee grounds?

I rarely make coffee at home and won't mind alternatives.

Never heard of this before, but it sounds legit, I mean big compartment stores have coffee grounds in their perfume counters to smell in between samples.
Now I wonder if coffee is safe for cats. 🤔

Caffine isn't safe for cats. Coffee beans, grounds and brewed coffee contain caffeine, a very dangerous and toxic chemical to cats and dogs. Ingestion can be life threatening.

I don't know if coffee is dangerous or safe for cats and I haven't try it before. Had it been I still have a cat, I will just ask my vet to know if it's something necessary to do in order to prevent odour.

Levoit Core P350 Pet Care True HEPA Air Purifier is what my uncle uses to deal with controlling his cat's pee odor. I started using it as well and it works very well.
