I purchased a new set to toys for my new kitten which was fluffy dinosaur. He used to play with the fluffy balls I bought him 2 months ago. After I gave him the new set of fluffy dinosaur to play with, he started growling and hissing immediately. I couldn't understand the reason why he had such a sudden change of behaviour.

Have you ever had this sort of experience with any of your cats or kittens?

Was the set new? Maybe your kitten snelled something it didn't like or something that scared them. 🤔

Could it have been because the toy was a dinosaur? Probably sounds crazy but some cats can reach to some things in a way such as hissing and growling to show fear or that they do not like something.

Hissing and growling means fear and also in another way means that they are trying to scare away whatsoever that came to scare them.
Cats can smell things they don't like and hiss or growl at it.

She probably did not like the new toys or she is not yet used to them. Give it some time and see how her reaction is, she might eventually get used to them.

The cat might see the toy as a weapon against her 🤣 or she wanted another toy not the one you got for her.
