Jumping to turn off the light

My cat started doing this recently and it's a joy watching her do it especially in the night. I was shocked the day she did it at night when I was still up doing something online. She needed to sleep but the light was disturbing her, she went to the switch, jumped up and switched off the light.

Your cat must be very smart to do something like this. My cats haven't smarten up to do anything like that but I would be happy to see them do it because it shows they can learn more than I have thought. This will make me try hard in teaching them more.

It will take a very smart cat to figure that out and keep doing it whenever they want to sleep. My cat haven't done anything like that but I wouldn't mind seeing it because it sounds so cool.

It's our dog that have done this switching off light bevause he used to used to see me orany other person do it but my cat have never done that. She did not figure that one too soon.

Cats are incredibly agile. I've seen them climb places that seem impossible, so a cat learning to switch off a light doesn't even surprise me anymore.
