When it comes to the warmer months and you have your windows and doors open, there is always a guarantee that you will end up with flies in your house.
If you have a cat, it is likely you will have their food sat in a place you keep it where they know where it is. As everyone knows, flies love any kind of food and cat food is no objection.
I always found when we had Smokey that I would have to cover her bowl when she was not eating with a plate or even just a cover to keep it from the flies until she was ready to eat it. I also know you can get food bowls that have some kind of lid that can protect the food as well.
How do you protect your cat's food from flies?
