Have another cat broken into your home?

I was at my friend's house this weekend and he told me about a male cat broken into his home and caused a nuisance. The cat scratched his wall to the top. He had flap doors in his house as his female cats like to wander a lot. He caught the whole thing on camera and it's the first time this happened. His cat was intimidated and can't go out for a while.

If you found yourself in this situation, what would you do because he's confused on how to tackle this new development?

The only thing to do here is to tighten security. Ensure that the openings at home are tightened whenever you are not at home. I have not had this experience and I am even angry reading about it happening to someone else.

I was thinking at one point maybe the male cat came to make out with my friend's cat but she wasn't giving in and probably that wasn't captured by the CCTV. So, it's why the male cat started scratching everything.

Hahahaha! That could be another reason because a horny cat can become an angry cat. You can't predict how these pets behave when they want to make out.

It's absolutely impossible for another cat to break into my home. If it happens, it not going to be cats breaking in I would be worried about but actual break in by criminals.

We've had several cats come into our property, our front yard, back yard, come up to our deck but never inside our home because we do not leave any door or windows open. With that being said, occasionally we do allow the visitors come in for a treat or 2 :)

It's not only cats that's been in my backyard but some weird birds I've not seen before. My backyard have a farm in it so, I guess the bird came to pick on some worms in the farm. The cat that usually comes in my backyard is my neighbour's. He's a gentle cat. My cat goes out to play with him a bit.

It's impossible for any other cats to break into my house. I don't have a cat walk in way for them to use. My doors would have to be open before another cat can get in. But I have seen so many other cats in my yard. They come over often.

Another cat will not be able to come into my home. This is because I live in a 3 story building which makes it practically impossible for them to climb the stairs before coming to my house.

I haven't experienced such before. I don't have a cat flap or garage where cats can intrude in my house. My cat is not a friendly cat that can allow other cats to come to her without proper introduction.

Birds can enter anywhere so far they are seeing openings. Cats and birds loves farm especially those ones that have flowers in them.

I've never had the experience of another cat or even dog breaking into my house because I am living in a place that is well secured in a way that other animals will not even have the means of getting into your apartment without you being the one that will let them in.

You are lucky enough to be in a well protected place. Some people are living in an environment that not everywhere is protected. You will even see a leaked zinc or fallen walls and that's what they can afford in that moment.
