Just like humans, cats can also suffer from allergies. They can have hay fever and they can also be allergic to other certain things as well. Usually to determine whether they have any allergies the vet will usually either run tests or do a checkup to see what the issue is if your cat is suffering and falling ill quite often.

We found out that my cat, Smokey had an allergy to female fleas quite early on in her life, and also as she got older she suffered from hay fever as well we noticed. Both were quite easy to treat though once we knew.

As far as I know at least for the moment, non of my cats have any allergies. This may not mean they do not have any at all but it may be that we just haven't picked up on any that they may have as they are not showing at the moment.

I have heard of cats suffering from hay fever though so that is one I do look out for.

One of my cats seems to suffer from hayfever it seems, I notice she tends to have issues with sneezing and her eyes watering around the time that hayfever would be a big issue. It doesn't tend to bother her too much though and she seems to get on with it.

This is common with simba, my female cat. I have always watched it, but she is a strong cat and have always gotten over it too.

Well, I can't say if there's any allergies when she was alive. The only time I feel like she has an allergy was when she's still small but I think she outgrown it.
