Do you have a self-lockable cat flap?

When we had Smokey, due to the landlord of the property I was renting not wanting to install a cat flap we made do without one but my mum and my grandma being they own their homes have been able to get a cat flap and they both have a self-lockable cat flap that they use.

They have the cat flap set so that it locks at a set time so that when the cat comes in, they can no longer go out again until they decide it can be opened which is usually in the morning.

Do you have a self-lockable cat flap?

I do not. We do not let our cats out. Cats are safer indoors. However, I kinda wanna have one of those for my bedroom, to allow the cats come in and out as they please.

Nope, I don't like having my cats going out of the house unless I'm the one who's taking them for a walk. It can get messy out and they will come back in with lost of dirt. I hate it whenever my cats furr are not clean.

No, I don't have any cat flap in my house. They are not encouragable since I don't let my cats out of the house. My neighbours cat was killed last week after it went out. He just found him dead by the side of the road.

Even if my kittens get out of the house, they will still stay within the compound which makes it easier for me not to worry too much when they are out. I just want them to have freedom which is why I let them out once in a while but I don't have a self-lockable cat flap installed.

There are so many people living in my neighbourhood that have lost their cats to careless and reckless drivers because they allow their cats to be outside without. It's why I don't let mine out on their own alone.

That's pathetic. It's out of carelessness that pets owners will leave their cats to wander away to the busy roads. I wonder what they are always doing without checking on their pets.
