Have you ever wondered if cats get depressed like humans beings do? If you're still doubting it, the answers to it is YES. Cats can be depressed and there are so many sign and symptoms you can easily point out to know when your cat is depressed. Some of these signs are ; Excessive sleeping, hardly eating, hiding a lot, change in the cat's personality, fear, aggression, and excessive scratching. There might be some other signs which will differ from one cat to another.

I will definitely be worried, if my cat ends up sleeping way too much. I haven't observed any of those behaviors in my cat, but it is something that we should watch out for too.

I do believe that cats have feelings and can suffer things like depression and anxiety, just like a human can.

There were times when we had our cat, we would notice that she used to go off in a room such as a bedroom that wasn't being used at the time to be on her own and because of that, we often wondered if she was either unwell or just feeling down at the time.

I've been very fortunate not to have any of my cats suffer any kind of depression. It's something that I am very happy about because I wouldn't know how to get them too feel better after being depressed. It is why I make sure to give them the best thing that is going to make them feel comfortable and happy at all times.

My cat didn't experience depression though she had all the symptoms. I thought something is going on with her not knowing that she's pregnant. She always sleep a lot and when she was examined, it was confirmed that she's two.
