How do you cope when you're cat is the aggressive type? Do you think that it's something do with their health that's making them to be aggressive? The knowledge I have about cats supports is that it's not in their personality trait to be aggressive unless something is wrong.

What do you think?

Fortunately, my cat isn't aggressive when there's no need for it. He's usually more aggressive with his prey or kills. You don't get in between them.

When my cat isn't healthy, they don't get aggressive but are mostly weak. It's how I know that something is wrong.

It is definitely not in a cat's nature to be aggressive unless they have a reason to be. Usually, when they are aggressive it is because something is happening that they do not like and it is their way of letting other animals or even humans know they are not happy.

I have known cats that ended up being strays become nasty and the reason for that was because of how they were treated before they were left.

Most strayed cats that's been in worst possible conditions are always aggressive and you can't blame them because it's the only way for them to survive in the situation they have found themselves.

I also believe that cat's personality plays a big role in them being aggressive or not. Introverted cats will be aggressive if you try to force people on them.

Both of my cats are not aggressive unless they need to be and that is usually to protect themselves. They are both really soft and wouldn't hurt anyone unless someone gave them a reason to. Any cats that are usually aggressive were either abused prior or have become feral from being stray for a long time.

Of all my cats not one of them is aggressive in any way unless they feel they need to be. Usually, if they feel threatened or they are not happy with something they may get aggressive but it's not something I feel I have to have control over. It's normal for cats to become aggressive especially when it comes to them not being happy or not feeling safe and so I don't feel the need to intervene if they are doing it to protect themselves.

I think it has to do with the way you have trained your cats because a pet that you show the love and care we find it difficult to be aggressive. Also I believe one should always look after their cat to see when they start having some funny behaviours.

Very true. Any cat that was possibly abandoned and left to end up being a stray will become aggressive to protect themselves and that is just normal for them and their way of surviving and should not be frowned upon if they do become like that.

Possibly this explains why my neighbor's cat behaves strange. She came around this morning to ask what she is going to do about it.

If your cats are displaying aggressiveness, it's a very good sign that something is wrong. Cats are not aggressive animals, so whenever they get aggressive, it's either they are afraid of something or trying to protect themselves. It may also be a health issues.

It may definitely be a mental challenge that needs a sort of quick intervention from the owner. There have been cases of cats that were bullied getting aggressive at the slightest chance.

Cats are gentle pet. They are too quiet more 5han other pets. I love them for that their gentility. If your cat start being aggressive, it means that she/he is fighting something that you can see. Just observe very well and know where the problem is coming from.
