    Why would I want to keep a pet that is illegal? I don't think it is something I want to do because I don't want to get into any kind of problem that will have me answering to the police or animal authorities.

    Yeah, I do. Whenever they come around, I’ll give them some food. It’s hard to ignore them when they’re clearly looking for something to eat.

    Treats, and more treats is what helps. It's the only thing that helps them calm down whenever we visit the vet. Whenever I give them treats, they pur and calm down.

    My cat used to do exactly the same thing with when she was just a kitten. As she grew older, she stopped and I guess she realized her tail is part of her body.

    It's very difficult to train older cats. They get aggressive, claw and hiss at you for just training them. It's why doing it at a young age is more suitable.

    The temperament of your cat is the most important thing to look into before getting another cat. It doesn't matter if you have an older or younger cat, once the temperament isn't cool, don't get a new cat because they will never get along.

    Honestly, most cats don't need attention that much. My neighbors cats are always hanging around on his balcony. It's literally where they sleep and spend most of their time.

    From my check and observation, everything seems to be good with them. They are fed well, have a comfortable bed they sleep in with a good room temperature.

    If you're taking care of your cats, they can't do anything without you. They will crave attention from you at all time. It's a natural behavior.

    There's nothing you can do. If you don't want your cats to depend on you, don't adopt them in the first place because it's silly to own cats and want them to be independent of you.
