Your cat in the kitchen?

It sounds like your cat have been well trained. It's not possible for my cat to behave in such way. He will even jump on my back in the kitchen.

I normally use left to say that the person is gone forever. I meant that she died, we couldn't continue living like family again.

I didn't do much but I think she understands that I don't like trouble and also decided to be that way too. Your cat jumping on your back means that you are playful with him all through.
