Does your cat hate it when you touch where it cleaned?

Cats are very good at grooming themselves from time to time. It's one of the reasons why they always look neat.

I tried messing with my cat last time by touching where she cleaned/groomed immediately. She gave me a very cold death stare, I couldn't stop laughing.

How does your cat react when you touch where it cleaned?

My cats love it when I stroke them, so I'm sure they wouldn't mind my touch, even in places they might have groomed.

Cats are known to hate it but if your own cat doesn't mind it at all when you touched where he/she have groomed, then you don't have anything to worry about.

My cats hardly clean or groom themselves in my presence. They do it when I'm not around. When they are around me, they don't care about where or how I touch them.

Exactly how mine does hers. She will do it alone and then start looking me. I have seen her only once when she's cleaning herself. I allowed her to take her time, didn't disturb her.

Yeah, maybe they will hate it if the touch is coming from a stranger, but me? Not at all. They will even be enjoying the stroke

I have noticed that cats don't like strangers to touch them. They will allow their owners to touch, lying down to enjoy the stroke but takes immediate run off when someone they didn't know to touch them.

I believe that's their natural instincts setting in. There's absolutely no reason to allow a stranger pet and stroke them.

Cats are like witches as they said but to me, they are being conscious of themselves. As a human being, I won't allow strangers to pet or stroke me unless I allow them.
