How often do you treat your cats for fleas?

Cats can get fleas at any point and it can sometimes cause them a lot of issues and health issues when they do get them so it is always wise to ensure that you treat your cats as often as needed to prevent fleas.

I always treat my cats at least once every 6 weeks to ensure that they are protected from fleas.

Much like you I also treat all my cats once every 6 weeks to ensure they are protected against fleas. As far as I know, my cats do not have any allergies to fleas but I wouldn't want to take the risk, plus how uncomfortable it must be for the cats to have fleas as well, wouldn't want that either.

When Smokey was alive, due to her having an allergy to female flea's saliva we had to make sure that she didn't get fleas or if she did, they were gonna before they made her ill. Due to this, we would have to treat her for fleas every 4 weeks on the dot.
