Have you ever noticed your cats pulling out their fur?

This is not something I always noticed myself when I had Smokey but with another cat that lives in the neighbourhood, he seems to do it a lot. We later found out he has fleas but they were treating him for them which is what I thought was causing it.

Have you ever noticed your cats pulling out their fur? Did you find out what was causing it?

A cat wouldn't pull out there furs when there's nothing that's making them do it. I'm very sure that in most cases, it's going to be as a result of fleas under their furs. It makes it very uncomfortable for them.

I have witnessed it but not with my cat because right from when smiley was born, I started taking care of her as a new born baby and avoiding anything that brings about dirty environment.
