It is all about exposure. Cats are known to learn when they are exposed to a particular attitude, and that is pretty normal. If they watch it on TV, for instance, they will likely want to show that as well.

It's about what they see with their eyes. You won't know that they learn until such acts met them at the point of survival. Cats learn from whatever they see people/animals around them do often.
