Does your cat like sleeping with light on or off?

Personally, I don't like sleeping at night with lights on. I need absolute darkness for me to sleep. But it's not the same thing with my cat. He can't sleep in the dark and he doesn't like being in a different room at night. He's always in my room and I have to leave my room light on for him.

Cats always have clearer eyes at night so they don't need light for anything. I love to sleep in total darkness and same goes to my cat too. The light can be on if I forgot to switch it off before sleeping.

With their eyes like torch at night, I don't think cats needs light to sleep. My kittens doesn't worry about it. I'm free to sleep with lights on or off. They are cool with it.

Please, do not forget to switch the lights off when your cat is sleeping. It helps them have a good time and also be active when there is a need for it.

I never know that cats bother about lights when they are sleeping. They usually sleep well in their room when the lights are off. I think it doesn't bother them.

I don't think that's proper for me to have light while sleeping. I will always care for my cat but not to the detriment of my own health.

I always sleep with the lights off, and they sleep fine that way too. So I guess they are okay with the lights off.

My cats doesn't care whether the lights are on or off whenever they are feeling. They will sleep off irrespective of the light's situation at hand. They're not like me who needs the lights off before I can sleep.

You are fortunate that you do not get such concerns. I’ve seen cats that will be meowing about simply because the lights are either on or off.
