    Funny thing is that, whenever I give myself treats, I include my cat as well. We live together so I feel it will not be fair to leave her out of the good time.

    That is just not acceptable in anyway. Just as I have a personal doctor I also have a vet for my cat and I’ll call him whenever there is an health issue.
