Have you ever been visited by a stray cat?

I do come across them every now and then. Yesterday morning I opened my front door and there was one right there staring at me. I gave it some food and off it went. It is not an unusual occurrence to me.

Does it happen to you too?

It's a very common thing to be visited by a stray cat in my neighborhood. A lot of them live within. I try as much as possible to keep food and water outside for them to eat whenever they come around.

No, I haven't been visited by a stray cat. I'm living in a well developed estate. It's not possible to have any stray cats roaming around in the neighbourhood.

Oh I do see them on a daily basis outside my home. Sometimes I even keep food for them which I think is why they keep coming back.

This is exactly the same thing I do with stray cats that usually come into my compound because I noticed that they are always visiting. It's unfortunate I cannot be able to take them in otherwise I would also give them shelter.

I see them a lot, especially those ones who look weak and malnourished. I don't want to be giving them food everytime so they don't keep coming back.

When you have seen they look weak and malnourished, what have you done to help them? It's animal cruelty when you abandon them like that.

There stray cats everywhere. Too many of them are homeless and I wish they could all be adopted or put in a good shelter.

I came across one just last week. She's not interested in humans, don't know why. The only way I render help is to drop foods where it can find it and a bowl of clean water.

Stray cats rarely have the desire to follow anyone about. That is just what is peculiar about them, just do your own part by leaving them food when you can.

I didn't know about this until recently and there's nothing you can do to force them home with you. They have mastered the street, also ready to live by it and make their own living. I will always keep food when necessary.

I contact animal care, they will come for stray domestic animals like that. That said, I never said I don't feed them. Once I see they come too often, I hand them over to people who can care for them better.

You are doing a good job by calling the animal care, I will also do same too. Animal care can take more proper care of them than what you are going to do.

They are already in the street and believed that they can fed for themselves. It has been a behaviour that they have mastered so well so I am not interested to keep one again.
